Electro to Pneumatic (EtoP) Controller:
The EtoP controller is an electronic control unit that converts electrical signals
into Pneumatic pressure. In this context, it receives control signals, possibly from a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or another control system, and translates them into the appropriate pneumatic pressure levels.
Operations :-
When the braking action is required, the EtoP controller receives a signal indicating the need for braking. It then modulates the Pneumatic pressure accordingly. The Pneumatic pressure is transmitted to the pneumatic caliper brake, causing the brake pads to engage and create friction on the rotating machinery.
